How it works
- Enter your domain under "Email and domain" in the portal.
- Change the nameservers at your registrar, or add a TXT record to verify it first.
- Create your mailboxes and copy each password.
- Use them in webmail, on your phone or in Outlook.
On Multilistado you can have email on your own domain (for example, ana@yourbrokerage.com) without paying for an office suite. Connect your domain, create up to 25 mailboxes and we set up email security so your messages are less likely to land in spam. It's free for license-verified agents; you only pay for the domain at the registrar where you bought it.
If you don't have a domain yet, or want to understand SPF, DKIM and DMARC, start with the guide professional email and domains for brokerages.
What's included
- Up to 25 mailboxes of 2 GB each per domain.
- Up to 3 domains per account.
- SPF, DKIM and DMARC set up automatically, plus spam filtering.
- Webmail with your logo and name. If you don't upload a logo, we use your website's.
- Works on your phone and in Outlook (IMAP and SMTP). The portal shows the settings.
- Your website on the same domain, with https. More in real-estate agent website.
- DNS management. With your nameservers on Multilistado you can add your own records, such as a TXT to verify your domain with Google or Facebook, or a CNAME pointing to another service. The mail server keeps the email records up to date on its own.
Requirement: your own domain
Email works only with your own domain. You can't use a Multilistado subdomain for email, so the address and its sending reputation belong to you. The domain stays registered in your name; if you ever leave, you point the nameservers wherever you like.
How to turn it on
- In the portal, open Email and domain and enter your domain. If you don't have one yet, buy it in your name first (Akky, GoDaddy, Namecheap, Hostinger or another registrar).
- At your registrar, change the nameservers to the two shown in the portal. It takes from a few minutes to 24 hours, and we email you when we detect it.
- If you'd rather set everything up before moving the nameservers, add a TXT record at your current DNS host to prove you own the domain and create mailboxes ahead of time.
- Create your mailboxes. The password is shown once; copy it.
- Sign in to webmail or add the mailbox to your phone or Outlook.
If you already have email elsewhere
Once you change the nameservers, new mail starts arriving at Multilistado. Before switching, create the same mailboxes here and save a copy of your old mail. If you'd rather keep your current provider, you can connect only your website using another method and leave your email where it is.
For brokerages
In a brokerage, the owner or a manager adds the domain and creates mailboxes, and can note which agent will use each one. Agents see their mailbox in the portal. The whole brokerage shares one domain for email and website.
Why it helps
- Trust: an address on your own domain stands out from a generic free account, especially when you send contracts or bank details.
- It's yours: if you change brokerages or providers, your domain and addresses go with you.
- One name across business cards, ads, website and email.
Tips
- Pick a short domain that's easy to spell over the phone, without hyphens or numbers.
- Turn on auto-renew at your registrar so you don't lose the domain.
- If you use Cloudflare or another external DNS, read the per-registrar instructions in the portal before changing anything.
- Use the same address on your Multilistado profile, your social media kit and your agreements.
