    At Akky, GoDaddy, Namecheap or another registrar. About $300–500 MXN a year. Already have one? Skip this step.

    Add it and change the nameservers

    In your portal, under Email, enter your domain. Then at your registrar set ns1.multilistado.mx and ns2.multilistado.mx.

    Choose the addresses, give each agent their password and set it up on their phone.

Pick and buy yours in 10 minutes.

  1. Pick the name: your name or your agency's, short and easy to spell over the phone. Avoid hyphens and numbers.
  2. Pick the ending: .com (best known), .com.mx or .mx (they say "Mexico" to your clients).
  3. Check availability in the registrar's search (Akky, GoDaddy, Namecheap, Hostinger…). If it's taken, try another ending or add your city: anahomestijuana.com.
  4. Buy it in your own name, with your usual email. It costs about $300–500 MXN a year; check the renewal price too. You don't need the registrar's hosting or email: we provide those free.
  5. Done: continue with step 2 (add it in your portal).

Step 2, in detail

How to change the nameservers

Sign in where you bought your domain, look for "Nameservers" or "Custom DNS", delete the ones listed and enter only these two: ns1.multilistado.mx and ns2.multilistado.mx.

Akky .mx and .com.mx domains
  1. Go to akky.mx and click "Iniciar sesión" (sign in).
  2. Open "Mis dominios" (my domains). Next to your domain open the three-dot menu and choose "Modificar DNS" (in some versions: open the domain with "Ver detalle" and go to the DNS tab).
  3. Enter ns1.multilistado.mx in DNS1 and ns2.multilistado.mx in DNS2. Leave the others empty.
  4. Click "Enviar clave a mi correo principal" (send key to my main email), enter the key you receive, click "Continuar" and then "Guardar" (save). You should see "Cambios guardados exitosamente".

Only a user with "Technical" permission on the domain can change its DNS at Akky.

GoDaddy (México)
  1. Sign in and open your domain portfolio. Select your domain.
  2. Open "DNS", then "Nameservers" and click "Change nameservers".
  3. Choose "I'll use my own nameservers" and enter ns1.multilistado.mx and ns2.multilistado.mx (remove GoDaddy's).
  4. Click "Save" and then "Continue". If your domain has Domain Protection, GoDaddy asks for a verification code.
Namecheap
  1. Sign in, open "Domain List" and click "Manage" next to your domain.
  2. In the "Nameservers" section choose "Custom DNS" from the dropdown.
  3. Enter ns1.multilistado.mx and ns2.multilistado.mx and click the green checkmark to save.
Squarespace (formerly Google Domains)
  1. Go to account.squarespace.com/domains and click your domain name. Google Domains domains now live here.
  2. Open "DNS" → "Domain nameservers" and click "Use custom nameservers".
  3. Enter your password (or two-step code) and click "Continue"; accept turning off DNSSEC with "Continue".
  4. In "Nameserver 1" and "Nameserver 2" enter ns1.multilistado.mx and ns2.multilistado.mx and click "Save".
Hostinger
  1. In hPanel open "Domains" and pick your domain.
  2. In the nameservers section click "Change" (or "DNS / Nameservers" → "Change nameservers").
  3. Choose "Change nameservers" (not "Use Hostinger nameservers"), enter ns1.multilistado.mx and ns2.multilistado.mx and click "Save".
Other registrar Neubox, HostGator, Wix…

Almost all of them follow the same path: Domains → your domain → DNS or Nameservers → custom. If the panel also asks for IP addresses, leave them empty. If you can't find it, ask their support: "I want to change my domain's nameservers to ns1.multilistado.mx and ns2.multilistado.mx".

Alternative: prove ownership with a TXT record

If you are not ready to change nameservers yet (for example, because you receive email elsewhere today), you can prove the domain is yours with a TXT record and create your mailboxes right away. Mail starts arriving at Multilistado once you change the nameservers.

Where: in the panel that manages your domain's DNS today. At GoDaddy: "DNS" → "Add New Record" → Type TXT, Name, Value → "Save". At Namecheap: "Advanced DNS" → "Add New Record" → TXT Record, Host, Value. Elsewhere look for "DNS zone", "Manage DNS" or "DNS records".

Username: your full address (e.g. ana@yourdomain.com). Password: your mailbox password. The outgoing server uses the same username and password. We don't offer POP3: always choose IMAP.

Webmail (any browser)

Go to correo.multilistado.mx with your full address and password. With the ?_d=yourdomain.com link your clients and team see your logo. In Settings → Filters you can create rules and a vacation auto-reply.

iPhone / iPad Mail app
  1. Open Settings → Apps → Mail → Mail Accounts (older iOS: Settings → Mail → Accounts).
  2. Tap "Add Account" → "Other" → "Add Mail Account".
  3. Enter your name, email, password and a description; tap "Next".
  4. Choose IMAP. Under "Incoming Mail Server" and "Outgoing Mail Server" enter mail.multilistado.mx as host name, your full address as username and your password. Tap "Next" and "Save".
  5. Calendar and contacts (optional): under "Add Account" → "Other" choose "Add CalDAV Account" and then "Add CardDAV Account", with server mail.multilistado.mx and the same details.
Android Gmail app
  1. Open the Gmail app, tap your profile picture, then "Add another account" → "Other".
  2. Enter your email and tap "Manual setup" → "Personal (IMAP)". Enter your password.
  3. Incoming server: mail.multilistado.mx, port 993, security SSL/TLS. Outgoing server: mail.multilistado.mx, port 465, SSL/TLS. Tap "Next" until done.
  4. Calendar and contacts (optional): Android has no built-in CalDAV/CardDAV; install an app such as DAVx⁵ and use https://mail.multilistado.mx with your email and password.

On iPhone you can also use the Gmail app: "Add another account" → "Other (IMAP)" with the same details.

Outlook Windows / Mac / mobile
  1. Classic Outlook (Windows): File → "Add Account" → enter your email → "Advanced options" → tick "Let me set up my account manually" → "Connect" → choose IMAP.
  2. New Outlook and Outlook for Mac: Settings → Accounts → "Add account", enter your email; if it doesn't set itself up, choose IMAP.
  3. Outlook mobile app: "Add account" → enter your email → "Set up account manually" → IMAP.
  4. Incoming mail.multilistado.mx 993 SSL/TLS; outgoing mail.multilistado.mx 465 SSL/TLS (or 587 STARTTLS); username = your full address.
Gmail on the computer reply "as" your domain

In 2026 Google retired "Check mail from other accounts" in Gmail on the web, so desktop Gmail can no longer fetch your mail. The easiest options are the webmail or the Gmail mobile app (above). If you still want to work from Gmail on the web:

  1. Get a copy: in the webmail open Settings → Filters, create a filter for all messages with the action "Send message copy to" your Gmail address. Check Gmail's spam folder now and then.
  2. Reply from your domain: in Gmail, Settings → "See all settings" → "Accounts and Import" → "Send mail as" → "Add another email address".
  3. SMTP server: mail.multilistado.mx, port 465, "Secured connection using SSL"; Username: your full address; Password: your mailbox password. Gmail sends a code to your new mailbox to confirm.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need my own domain?

Yes. Multilistado email works only with your own domain (for example youragency.com). You buy it from a registrar such as Akky, GoDaddy or Namecheap for about $300–500 MXN a year; the email, the website and the security certificate are free.

Will I lose my current email?

We delete nothing. Your @gmail.com or other account stays as it is. If your domain already receives email at another provider (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or your hosting), new mail starts arriving at Multilistado once you change the nameservers: create the same mailboxes first and keep a copy of your old email. The portal warns you if it detects your domain already receives mail elsewhere.

Can I keep using Gmail to read my email?

Yes, in the Gmail app on your phone (Android or iPhone): add your email as an IMAP account. In Gmail on the computer, Google retired fetching mail from other accounts in 2026; there you can get a copy with a webmail filter and reply from your domain with "Send mail as". Instructions are above.

What happens to my website?

If you tick "use this domain for my website too", your Multilistado site goes live on your domain with https at no cost. If you already have a site elsewhere and leave it unticked, we copy its current records so it keeps working as before.

How long does it take?

Adding your domain in the portal takes 2 minutes. The nameserver change takes from a few minutes to 24 hours (sometimes up to 48). We email you as soon as we detect it. With the TXT record you can create your mailboxes earlier.

What if my domain is already at GoDaddy or Akky?

Perfect: you don't have to transfer it. The domain stays in your name at your registrar, where you renew it each year; you only change its nameservers to Multilistado's. If you ever leave, you switch the nameservers back.

How much does the email cost?

Nothing. Mailboxes, branded webmail, spam filtering and security setup are free for licensed agents. The only cost is your domain, paid to your registrar, not to us.
