Alerts for new listings and price drops

Save your search and get new listings, price drops and homes back on the market by email or on your iPhone, as they happen, daily or weekly.

Updated

How it works

  1. Search Multilistado with the filters you care about.
  2. Enter your email in the alert box and choose the frequency.
  3. Confirm the alert from the email we send you.
  4. Adjust or unsubscribe from any alert email.

Multilistado alerts save a search and let you know by email, or with an iPhone notification, when a matching home shows up. We also tell you when a home in that search drops in price, comes back on the market, or is listed below the Multilistado Estimate. You choose how often: as it happens, once a day or once a week.

What an alert tells you

Each alert checks listings posted by license-verified agents that match your search (city, neighborhood or map area, type, price, bedrooms, bathrooms and other filters) and sends you:

  • New listings as they're published.
  • Price drops of at least 1%.
  • Back on the market: homes that were sold, rented, under contract or withdrawn and are available again.
  • Below the estimate: homes whose asking price is 8% or more below the Multilistado Estimate.

On each alert's settings page you pick which kinds of updates you want. Each email shows up to 12 listings with a link to see the rest on the site. We never send you the same update about the same home twice.

On top of that, if you have an account with a verified email and you've saved homes to your favorites, we email you when one of them is sold, rented, withdrawn, goes under contract or becomes available again.

How to create an alert on the website

  1. Run your search in Search with the filters you care about.
  2. In the results, use the "Email me new listings, price drops and homes back on the market" box, enter your email and choose the frequency.
  3. We email you a link to confirm the alert. Nothing is sent until you confirm. If you already have an account with that email verified, the alert is active right away.
  4. Daily digests arrive at 8:00 a.m. Tijuana time, and weekly ones on Mondays at the same time. "As it happens" alerts go out as soon as we detect the change.

In the app

In the Multilistado México app you create the alert from Explore, or from the map with "Notify me." Give it a name, choose the frequency and how you want to hear about it: iPhone notification, email or both. The app only asks for notification permission when you choose iPhone notifications. Your alerts live in your account and show up the same way on the website, under My alerts.

Managing your alerts

  • No password needed: every email links to that alert's settings, where you change the name, frequency and kinds of updates, or pause it.
  • One-click unsubscribe: from one alert or all of them at once, right from the email. If you unsubscribed by mistake, you can turn it back on from the page.
  • With your account: My alerts lists every alert tied to your verified email.

If an agent sets up the alert for you

A verified agent can prepare an alert for you based on the search you discussed. Even so, you won't receive anything until you confirm it from the email you get, and you can unsubscribe whenever you like.

Tips

  • If you want a very specific area, draw it on the map and create the alert from that search.
  • Save "as it happens" for the search you care about most; for the rest, the daily or weekly digest is easier to read.
  • Keep "below the estimate" on if you're hunting for deals, but ask an agent why the price is low: sometimes it's the condition of the home or a data entry mistake.
  • Alerts cover listings from verified agents. Homes from other portals show up on the map with the "Other portals" layer.
