How licensing works in Baja California Sur
In Baja California Sur a registration and license are required for any real-estate transaction (art. 11 of the state law). The license lasts 3 years with a yearly renewal (refrendo); advisors working for an agency get their own ID (AI-#### number). Notaries must check the agent's registration and license before formalizing the deal (art. 11).
