How it works
- Read /llms.txt to see what Multilistado offers.
- Add .md to a page or send Accept: text/markdown.
- Call /api/open/v1 without a key for JSON data.
- Connect your AI client to the MCP server at /mcp.
- If you're an agent, add your key to manage listings and leads.
Multilistado is built to be read by AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude too, along with the bots that developers and real estate agents build. We offer a /llms.txt file, Markdown versions of public pages, an open data API that needs no key, and an MCP server at /mcp. That way an assistant can search listings, check whether an agent is licensed, or look up prices by neighborhood using Multilistado data instead of guesses.
/llms.txt and Markdown versions
/llms.txtsummarizes what Multilistado is and links the key pages, documentation and guides./llms-full.txtalso includes the full text of the guides and of these feature pages.- Markdown for each page. Add
.mdto a listing URL (/p/<slug>.md), an agent URL (/agente/<slug>.md) or a registry profile (/registro/<state>/<slug>.md), or request those same URLs with theAccept: text/markdownheader. There are also Markdown versions of search (/buscar.md?city=Tijuana&operation=sale), the guides, these feature pages, the FAQ and the developer documentation. - robots.txt explicitly allows well-known AI crawlers (from OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, Google, Apple and others) on public pages, and blocks private areas such as accounts, the agent portal and agreements.
Open data API
/api/open/v1 is a read-only REST API: JSON, no key, open CORS, and a limit of 120 requests per minute per IP. The OpenAPI spec is at /api/open/v1/openapi.json.
| Endpoint | What it returns |
|---|---|
GET /listings | Listings from verified agents, with filters (city, neighborhood, type, sale or rent, price, bedrooms, map area, sort) |
GET /listings/{slug} | Full listing with the Multilistado Estimate |
GET /agents/verify?q= | Matches in state registries and verified accounts |
GET /agents/{slug} | Public profile of a verified agent and their listings |
GET /estimate | Value range for a home based on nearby asking prices |
GET /prices/colonias | Asking-price statistics by neighborhood |
GET /places?q= | Cities and neighborhoods for building searches |
MCP server
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard AI clients use to connect to outside services. Our server is at https://multilistado.mx/mcp (Streamable HTTP, JSON responses, 120 requests per minute).
Open tools, no key:
search_listings: search homes for sale or rent from verified agents.get_listing: details of one listing, with its agent and the Multilistado Estimate.get_agent: an agent's public profile and listings.verify_agent: whether a person holds a license or registration in the state registries.estimate_home_value: a value range for a home (not an appraisal).colonia_prices: price statistics by neighborhood.suggest_places: cities and neighborhoods matching some text.
Agent tools, with the agent's account key (Authorization: Bearer pbm_…, created in the portal): my_account, my_listings, create_listing, update_listing, publish_listing, unpublish_listing and my_leads. Each key has a permission level: read-only, read plus leads, or full. New listings are created as drafts and published separately.
How to connect
- In Claude (web or desktop): Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, with the URL
https://multilistado.mx/mcp. - In Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http multilistado https://multilistado.mx/mcp. - In other clients that support remote MCP servers, use the same URL. If you're an agent, add your key in the
Authorizationheader. - If you only need to read data, call the open API or the
.mdversions directly.
The full guide, with examples, is at AI, bots and open data.
What we share and what we don't
- Yes: listings published by verified agents (except those the agent excluded from other sites), public agent profiles, registry matches (name, folio, state, expiration and official link), the Multilistado Estimate and price statistics by neighborhood.
- No: buyer data, identity verifications, agreements, other agents' leads, or phone numbers and emails from the registries. Listings from other portals aren't returned one by one; they only feed aggregate statistics.
- Terms: it's free. Please cite and link multilistado.mx; the listing page on the site is the current information, since prices and availability change.
Who it's for
- Buyers who use ChatGPT or Claude and want their assistant to search with real data and check licenses.
- Agents who want their own bot to publish listings or handle leads with their key.
- Developers who want to integrate search, agent verification or neighborhood prices. To show listings on a website, also see IDX widget and API.
